Ace Nigerian comedian Gordons has called on Afro-pop star, Tuface Idibia to focus on protesting with music in order to send his message across to government at all tiers.
Gordons, who was reacting to Tuface’s cancellation of his proposed street protest on Monday and Tuesday, chided the legendary musician for venturing into turfs he is not too familiar with. According to Gordon’s 2face is not a politician but a musician and as such should stick to doing what he knows how to do best. Pointing to legendary musicians of yesteryears, Gordons opined that musicians should use their music as a tool to for societal change as opposed to leading protests.

Remember that 2face had announced in January that he would be leading a protest against government for the harsh conditions that they have put Nigerians into. However, he pulled out in the eleventh hour for what he referred to as “security reasons”. His decision to pull out of the protest has continued to draw reactions from fellow celebrities and citizens alike. The protest went ahead without 2face Idibia and still had a measure of impact.
