Former Interim chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande and the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu have paid President Muhammadu Buhari a visit in London Thursday the 9th of February, 2016.
This announcement that they visited Buhari in London was made on the official twitter handle of the president himself with a photograph accompanying the tweet to seemingly confirm the tweet.
Meanwhile, nothing else has been divulged about the visit. Remember that the president has been out of the country since January for a vacation/routine health check and was expected in the country on Monday, But in a twist of events, the president cancelled his return and prolonged his stay leading to many people supposing that he is dead. The visit seems to be a move to allay the fear of Nigerians as to whether the president is still alive or not.
Many people have repeatedly called for the President to address the nation if he was not dead. The debate became so fierce in the public sphere that the President’s sister called for Nigerians to pray for the President’s health as opposed to wishing him death. This visit to President Buhari in London would help in no little way to allay the fear of Nigerians.
