Kendall Nicole Jenner was just 11 years old when Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered on E! on October 14, 2007, thrusting her into the spotlight as a reality TV star alongside her entire family. But Jenner’s dream went far beyond the small screen. She wanted to be a model, and, more importantly, to be taken seriously as one.

It was Marc Jacobs who first sparked her runway career, casting Jenner in the brand’s Fall 2014 show. Fast forward to 2017 and Jenner is one of the most sought after models in the business, not to mention one of the hardest working. “She had her eyes focused on exactly what she wanted to do, and she made it happen,” big sister Kim Kardashian told Vogue in a September 2016 cover story that described Jenner as being “grounded, always on time, a grown-up.”

And she doesn’t just slay on the runway โ€” Jenner has mastered the ‘model off-duty’ look. She continues to be a regular source of fashion inspiration to her 77 million Instagramย  followers, and to fans around the world. Need proof of just how stylish this young starlet can be? Check out her hottest looks of the year so far, and get ready to be seriously impressed

Kendall Jenner and younger sis Kylie Jenner kicked off the year with a glamorous sister date, taking NBC’s Golden Globes after party by storm. The duo showed up in serious style (as always) with Kendall wearing a strapless Paule Ka gown, as reported by People. The supermodel showed off some serious leg with a thigh-high slit, and coordinated her orange satin gown with some killer snakeskin stilettos in the same hue. She completed the look with a stylish top knot and layers of a chokers.

It’s easy to see why Jenner, a staple on the Chanel runway season after season, is so loved by designer Karl Lagerfeld: she breathes a youthful energy into the classic brand that makes it seem like the epitome of cool. Her appearance in the 2017 Spring/Summer Haute Couture show at the Grand Palais in Paris was no exception, as she wowed in a stunning silver dress with a plunging neckline and plenty of feather and crystal embellishments. Yup, the chic gown made her look more beautiful than ever!

At Harper’s Bazaar’s 150 Most Fashionable Women celebration

Stepping out in La Perla at Harper’s Bazaar’s celebration of the 150 Most Fashionable Women, which took place at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood in January, Jenner proved she’s not only one of the most fashionable women, but also one who is never afraid to take sartorial risks. Her white bodysuit coupled with a black lace dress delivered major sex appeal as Jenner fearlessly turned underwear into outerwear.

At the start of February 2017, Jenner posted THE ultimate cheeky, anti-love snap right in time for Valentine’s Day. Wearing a white lace bralette and red bikini underwear, the 21-year-old looks flawless as she reclines on top of a dusty red car, baseball bat in hand. Written on the ride’s hood? “Boys lie.” Captioned: “There’s no crying in baseball,” the photo (which was taken for Love Magazine) sends quite the message to all potential suitors: Never, ever mess with Kendall Jenner.

Celebrating La Perla’s Milan store opening

Taking a short break from her modeling duties at Milan Fashion Week in February, Jenner had another huge fashion moment in La Perla when she attended the lingerie brand’s flagship store opening in Milan. The special event called for a special look and she sure delivered, rocking stylish nude colors, including high-waisted satin pants, a sexy see-through lace bustier and fierce fur jacket, which was effortlessly draped over her shoulders, NBD.

Rocking the Balmain Fall/Winter 2017 catwalk

We mean, really. Jenner practically shut down the Balmain Fall/Winter 2017/2018 presentation at Paris Fashion Week in March when she walked out in thigh-high snakeskin boots paired with a cutout dress that combined various snakeskin and leather panels with plunging mesh detail and a gold lip. The extravagant outfit served to teach the world one important lesson: Jenner looks amazing in anything she puts on. Slay, queen!
